Bianca directs California’s policy and government affairs operations in California. She also directs outreach for the Northern California region, including the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. She leverages the collective voices of California stakeholders and small business owners to compete on a level playing field and to provide quality jobs for themselves and for California workers. Bianca serves as primary liaison for the California State Senate, Assembly, and the Governor’s Office and represents Small Business Majority at local, regional and state government bodies.
Nationally, Bianca oversees Small Business Majority’s national efforts on employment law, gig work, and labor issues. Bianca serves on the Board of California EDGE Coalition, California Main Street, the Advisory Board for the Northern California SBDC Network, the Steering Committee for the California Asset Building Coalition (CABC), and the Marketing, Outreach, and Engagement Advisory (MOEA) Board for Covered California.
Prior to SBM, Bianca worked in Washington, DC as an FEC-registered federal lobbyist on labor, healthcare, trade, and transportation issues for the ILWU, the West Coast longshoremen. She also served as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill for Attorney General Keith Ellison in his capacity as member of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee and co-Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
